FDA Statement from TITLE 21, CHAPTER I, PART 310

Here is what the FDA has to say about hair grower or hair loss prevention in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, Volume 5, Part 310, CITE: 21CFR310.527  dated April 1, 2015:

"Based on evidence currently available, all labeling claims for OTC hair grower and hair loss prevention drug products for external use are either false, misleading, or unsupported by scientific data. Therefore, any OTC drug product for external use containing an ingredient offered for use as a hair grower or for hair loss prevention cannot be considered generally recognized as safe and effective for its intended use."

Therefore, despite numerous people reporting the effectiveness of ingredients contained in Thick-N-Long, we must say that our product has not been proven by the government as effective for reversing or preventing hair loss.
